Leopard sighted in parking and elevator lobby of a residential complex



Bengaluru: Recent leopard sightings in the IT corridor of south-east Bengaluru have sparked alarm. Residents near MS Dhoni Global School on Kudlu Main Road, as well as those in Singasandra and HSR Layout, are expressing concern after multiple sightings in the past two days.

A viral CCTV clip captured the leopard in the basement parking and elevator lobby of an apartment complex. Forest officials in Bengaluru Urban are actively working to locate and safely handle the situation, deploying over 25 personnel, veterinarians, and sharpshooters.

Drone cameras are also being used for surveillance. Authorities are advising residents to avoid going out alone, especially during early morning and late night hours, and to be cautious with pets in the area.
