MANUU Model School Falaknuma Student Uzma Begum Secures 3rd Position at 16th National Science Fair in Chennai

The 16th National Science Fair, organized by B.S Abdur Rahman Crescent Institute and OMEIAT (Organisations of Muslim Educational Institutions & Associations of Tamilnadu), concluded successfully at Crescent University, Vandalur, Chennai.

Hyderabad: The 16th National Science Fair, organized by B.S Abdur Rahman Crescent Institute and OMEIAT (Organisations of Muslim Educational Institutions & Associations of Tamilnadu), concluded successfully at Crescent University, Vandalur, Chennai.

The two-day event brought together bright young minds from across the country, showcasing their research-based science projects in categories ranging from Elementary to Senior.

In a remarkable achievement, Uzma Begum, a Class-11 student from MANUU Model School (CBSE), Falaknuma, Hyderabad, secured the 3rd position in this prestigious national event. Uzma presented her research project titled “Estimation of Oxidative Stress Levels in Rice and Wheat Plants Exposed to Salinity Stress.” Her insightful work garnered appreciation from the judging panel and fellow participants.

Supervised by the dedicated guide teacher, Waseem Uddin MD, PGT-Biotechnology at MANUU Model School, Uzma’s success reflects not only her individual dedication but also the commitment of the educational institution towards nurturing scientific curiosity and innovation among students.

Uzma Begum was honored with a Memento and Appreciation Certificate, presented by Ms. Mariyam Habeeb, Board of Director, Crescent University.

The award ceremony was graced by eminent personalities including Mr. Dr. N. Thajuddin, Pro Vice-Chancellor, Crescent University; Mr. Md Khalilullah, President, OMEIAT; Mr. Md Kamal Nazer, Joint Secretary, OMEIAT; and Ms. Asia Maria, IAS, Director of Minority Education, Tamilnadu.

The event not only served as a platform for students to showcase their scientific prowess but also provided an opportunity for them to interact with and learn from distinguished personalities in the field.
