Maoist leader urges Khammam voters to boycott Telangana polls in an open letter

In the letter, the Maoist Party Central Committee Member Azad said in the combined Khammam district, the Congress party had become a puppet in the hands of Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy.

Hyderabad: Maoist party has released an open letter with scathing remarks on State minister Puvvada Ajay Kumar and Congress leader Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy. The party has given a call to the voters of the Khammam district to boycott the upcoming assembly elections.

In the letter, the Maoist Party Central Committee Member Azad said in the combined Khammam district, the Congress party had become a puppet in the hands of Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy.

He also said Ponguleti was trying to get a seat for his followers and not those who had served the Congress for a very long time.

Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy and Puvvada Ajay Kumar are shouldering the responsibility of ensuring the victory of their respective parties in the combined Khammam district.

Azad also said both Ponguleti and Puvvada Ajay Kumar were corporate politicians and added that people should teach a lesson to the political parties, which are preparing to spend thousands of crores of rupees in the upcoming elections.

He alleged that both Ponguleti and Puvvada earned crores of rupees through illegal means and added that their exploitation was flourishing with each passing day. He said the two leaders need power to continue their exploitation.

Azad said the two leaders were waving swords at each other to grab power with corrupt money. Azad’s letter has created a stir in the BRS and Congress parties.
