MLC Elections | Congress finalises names of its candidates in Telangana

Hyderabad: Congress has finalised the names for two MLC seats in Telangana.

According to Congress party sources, Addanki Dayakar and Balmuri Venkat have been selected as candidates under the MLA quota.

The party senior leaders from New Delhi called Addanki Dayakar and Balmuri Venkat and gave information over the phone about their selection for the MLC post.

The last date for MLC nominations is on January 18 and the elections will be held on January 29.

Meanwhile, it is learnt that the Congress party has also finalised the names of Telangana Jana Samithi (TJS) president Prof Kodandaram and Editor Siasat Daily Amer Ali Khan as the MLC candidates under Governor’s quota.
