Muslim boy, who was shot dead in Ranchi protest, gets first division in 10th class exams

Ranchi: Mudassir Alam’s results were declared by Jharkhand Academic Council 11 days after his death. He has passed the 10th class examinations with first division. 14-year-old Muslim boy was killed during a protest held in Jharkhand’s Ranchi city on 10 June.

Mudassir secured 66.6 per cent marks in the exams. He was shot dead in front of a temple when he was protesting against insulting remarks by BJP leaders on Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).

Another person named Sahil was also killed during the protest. 10 days and counting, no action has been taken against the culprits. Not even an FIR has been registered despite repeated attempts by families of the deceased. Muslim Mirror reported.
