These projects include infrastructure developments, healthcare facilities, and public welfare initiatives, aimed at improving the standard of living for the residents of Katihar.
As part of his itinerary, the Chief Minister also conducted an aerial survey of Gogabil Lake in the Ahmedabad block of Katihar. He visited Rampur Panchayat in the Kodha block to assess the progress of various development works.
Notable highlights from his visit to Katihar include the inauguration of badminton and volleyball courts, inspection of government buildings, and a review of health infrastructure such as the Panchayat Government Building, MNREGA Bhawan, PACS Bhawan, and Health and Wellness Centre.
Additionally, Nitish Kumar reviewed a proposed sports complex site, inspecting the existing stadium and evaluating its suitability for further development. The visit also included the distribution of cheques to beneficiaries under various state welfare schemes, an initiative aimed at directly benefiting the people of Bihar.
