Nizamabad: Former AICC President Rahul Gandhi has accused the Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao (KCR) family of corrupt governance, stating that Telangana is suffering under their rule.

Addressing an election campaign rally in Bodhan, Nizamabad district on Saturday, Rahul highlighted a surge in activities related to land, sand, and liquor mafias in the state.

Emphasizing the need for a people’s government, Rahul criticized what he referred to as “Dolala rule” and drew attention to KCR’s close alignment with the Prime Minister Narendra Modi government, noting their cooperation.

Speaking on the ongoing conflict between the nobility and common people, Rahul alleged a one lakh crore scam in the Kaleswaram project and pledged Congress’s commitment to fighting for the interests of the poor. He warned of potential land grabs if the ruling party retained power, underlining the Congress party’s historical contributions to Hyderabad’s development.

Rahul highlighted the diversion of sub-plan funds intended for Dalits, SCs, and STs. Promising a government for the people, Rahul outlined six guarantees to be implemented in the first cabinet meeting if Congress comes to power.

He accused KCR of supporting every bill brought by the BJP and claimed cooperation between the central government, including BJP, and KCR. Rahul called for the removal of both KCR and BJP, expressing his commitment to defeating BJP and Modi at the national level.

Rahul made a symbolic statement, asserting that KCR was the governed of Telangana, whereas Modi governed in Delhi.

He noted that Congress had sabotaged the car’s tires in Telangana. Rahul supported the establishment of a Telangana for the people, highlighting the necessity for a constructive change in the state.
