Saudi Arabia scraps visa sticker for 12 countries

The Saudi General Authority of Civil Aviation has issued a new directive, permitting citizens from various countries, including Yemen, Pakistan, Sudan, Uganda, Lebanon, Nepal, Turkey, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Morocco, Thailand, and Vietnam, to enter the kingdom without the need for traditional visa stickers. Instead, visas for purposes like work, visit, and residency, which were previously obtained from Saudi embassies and consulates abroad, will now be verified through a Quick Response (QR) code. This code will be printed on an A4-sized paper, containing all the necessary visa information.

Effective from today, Wednesday, July 26, travelers from the mentioned countries can enter Saudi Arabia using this simplified visa process, making their journey more convenient and efficient.
