The Mega Master Plan encompasses various key components, including the introduction of a friendly industrial policy, development initiatives akin to Hyderabad across the state, the establishment of new Pharma Villages, and promotion of all sectors of industry, a statement from the Chief Minister’s Office said.
Chief Minister Revanth Reddy emphasized the formulation of a robust master policy with future objectives, signifying a strategic approach towards achieving industrial prosperity.
The meeting highlighted the government’s commitment to creating a conducive environment for industrial development, inviting investments and ensuring the protection of every penny invested in the state.
Addressing concerns and misconceptions, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy assured entrepreneurs of a transparent and supportive approach, emphasizing the safeguarding of investments. The new industrial policy differentiates itself by prioritizing the welfare and interests of rural areas, aiming to extend the benefits of development and investments beyond cities to villages.
Furthermore, the Chief Minister detailed plans to divide Telangana into three clusters, focusing on urban, semi-urban, and rural development around the Hyderabad Outer Ring Road (ORR). Special attention was given to the pharmaceutical sector, with the proposal to establish Pharma Villages along the ORR, equipped with necessary infrastructure and amenities.
In addition to pharmaceuticals, the Mega Master Plan encourages the development of clusters for IT, health, sports, automobile, and organic processing industries. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy urged industrialists to capitalize on opportunities in the defense and naval sectors, emphasizing the immense potential in Hyderabad for production.
The government also announced the formulation of a new solar power policy, providing incentives to energy industries. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy expressed a commitment to separate development from politics and assured availability for discussions with entrepreneurs.
Recognizing the state’s unemployed population as valuable human resources, the Chief Minister highlighted plans to establish skill universities, aiming to enhance employability and competitiveness among the youth.
The meeting was attended by key government officials, including Chief Secretary Shanti kumari, Principal Secretary to CM Seshadri, IT Principal Secretary Jayesh Ranjan, and representatives from the Confederation of Indian Industry, among others.
