Hyderabad: There is optimism that the Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture, and Medical Common Entrance Test (TS EAMCET 2024) will be conducted in the second week of May.
The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) is expected to announce the initial dates for the Common Entrance Tests (CET), followed by the notification for TS EAMCET in the month of February.
The TSCHE will finalize the schedules for various entrance tests, including EAMCET, ICET, PGECET, EdCET, and LAWCET.
In a meeting held at the Secretariat today, B. Venkatesham, the Principal Secretary of Education, along with other senior officials of the Education Department, discussed necessary measures for conducting various examinations.
Officials briefed the Principal Secretary, who recently took charge, about the essential steps needed for organizing exams and their smooth execution.
Given the upcoming parliamentary elections in April/May 2024, authorities are actively working to ensure that the dates of various Common Entrance Tests do not clash with election dates or other national competitive exams such as JEE and NEET, thus avoiding any potential conflicts.
