Telangana: Heavy rain likely in next 24 hours
Thunderstorms accompanied by lightning are very likely to occur in isolated places in a few districts of Telangana during the next 48 hours, it added.
Hyderabad: The trough runs from cyclonic circulation over Jharkhand to Telangana across Chhattisgarh and Vidarbha extends up to 1.5 km above mean sea level, the Meteorological Centre said on Friday.
In the latest weather report here, it warned that heavy rain is very likely to occur at isolated places in the districts of Adilabad and Komaram. Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Jagityal, Rajanna Sirsilla,Karimnagar, Peddapalli, Jayashankar Bhupalapally, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Warangal, and Hanamkonda of Telangana during the next 24 hours.

Meanwhile the Meteorological Centre said on Friday that light to moderate rain or thundershowers are very likely to occur at a few places over Telangana during the next seven days,.
In a daily weather report here, it said that the Southwest monsoon has been vigorous over the state.
Very heavy rainfall occurred at isolated places in Hanumakonda, and heavy rainfall occurred at many places in Mulugu, a few places in Kumaram Bheem, and isolated places in Adilabad, Jogulamba-Bhupalpally, Mahabubabad, Mancherial, Nagarkurnool, Nalgonda, Suryapet, Warangal, and Y Bhuvanagiri Districts of Telangana during the last 24 hours. Rain occurred at most places in Telangana during the same period, the report added.
