Madurai: The Carrom Association of Telangana is celebrating a remarkable achievement as their Junior Girls Team clinched the Silver Medal in the Team Championship Event at the 48th Junior Nationals & Inter State Carrom Championship.
The event, organized by the All-India Carrom Federation and held at SRM Engineering College in Madurai from February 10 to 13, 2024, witnessed fierce competition among talented players from across the country.
Despite an impressive performance throughout the tournament, the Telangana Team faced a tough final encounter against T.N, ultimately losing with a score of 0-3. However, their exceptional teamwork and skills led them to secure the prestigious Silver Medal, a testament to their dedication and prowess on the carrom board.
Upon their return, the team was warmly welcomed by officials of the Carrom Association of Telangana, who greeted them with grandeur. Shoban Raj, Organizing Secretary of CAT, was present alongside Team Managers Zameem Zannat and Shyam Babu to receive the triumphant players.
The victorious Telangana Junior Girls Team comprises talented individuals including K. Nandini, C. Saikeerthana, V. Aini Reddy, B. Roopankrutha, Manisha, and P. Aradhya, whose collective efforts and determination have brought glory to the state.
