The Election Commission of India (ECI) has once again extended the deadline for the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) voter enumeration exercise in Telangana. Voters now have until August 10 to complete and submit their enumeration forms. The deadline, which was earlier fixed for August 3, has been extended by another seven days to allow more eligible voters to complete the process.

Election Commission Extends SIR Deadline

The Election Commission has extended the last date for the voter enumeration process under the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) in Telangana to August 10.

Earlier, the deadline for submitting completed enumeration forms was August 3. With the latest decision, voters have received another seven days to complete the process.

SIR Exercise Began on June 25

The Special Intensive Revision (SIR) exercise in Telangana began on June 25.

Initially, the last date for submitting enumeration forms was July 24. The Election Commission later extended it to August 3 and has now further extended the deadline to August 10.

However, Hyderabad continues to record the slowest progress among all districts.

Voters Urged to Complete Process Before August 10

Following the extension announced by the Election Commission, citizens who have not yet submitted or completed their enumeration forms have another opportunity to do so.

Voters across Telangana are advised to complete all necessary formalities related to their enumeration forms before August 10 to ensure their records are correctly included in the voter list revision process.
