Applications Open Until April 14
Originally launched on March 17 by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, the application deadline for the scheme has now been extended to April 14. Applicants can submit their forms both online and offline, with the official website being https://tgobmmsnew.cgg.gov.in.
Major Update: No Ration Card? Submit Income Certificate
One of the major concerns among applicants was the lack of a ration card, which earlier restricted participation. However, the government has now issued a key clarification:
- Ration card or Food Security Card holders do not need to submit an income certificate.
- Applicants without a ration card must submit a MeeSeva-issued income certificate number.
- Caste certificates issued after 2016 via MeeSeva are valid for application, and there’s no need to reapply for a new one.
Financial Assistance from ₹50,000 to ₹4 Lakhs
Eligible beneficiaries under the scheme can receive financial aid ranging from ₹50,000 to ₹4,00,000, depending on the type of business they wish to start. The Telangana government has allocated a budget of ₹6,000 crore for the implementation of this massive welfare initiative.

100% Subsidy for Units Below ₹50,000
Units that cost below ₹50,000 are eligible for 100% subsidy, meaning the beneficiary doesn’t need to repay the amount. For units above ₹50,000, partial subsidy with bank loan assistance is provided.
Over 7 Lakh Applications Received So Far
According to Mallayya Bhattu, Managing Director of BC Corporation, the scheme has already received over 7 lakh applications. He urged more eligible youth to make use of this opportunity before the deadline.
Orientation & Training for Selected Beneficiaries
After the application window closes, Mandal-level committees will shortlist candidates and send the list to district-level committees for final approval. The selected beneficiaries will:
- Receive orientation classes for 7–15 days.
- Be granted units after the training.
- Undergo on-ground training for 6 months to 1 year post-unit establishment.
- Get continuous support and monitoring from officials.

- Caste Certificate (MeeSeva-issued, post-2016)
- Ration Card or Income Certificate
- Aadhar Card
- Business Proposal (for certain units)
