United Muslim Forum Calls for Solidarity with Palestinians in Friday Sermons, Qunoot-e-Nazila

Hyderabad: The United Muslim Forum strongly condemns Israel’s aggression in Gaza, urging fair-minded citizens to speak out against this oppression. Forum officials, including Maulana Mufti Syed Sadiq Mohiuddin Faheem, Maulana Khalid Saifullah Rahmani, and others, demand the Indian government condemn the Israeli attacks, emphasizing the tragic loss of lives, including over two hundred children.

They highlight the dire situation in Gaza, where basic necessities like water, electricity, and fuel have been cut off, turning it into an open prison. The forum criticizes the Indian government’s response, especially Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s stance, seeing it as supporting the oppressor. They call for a continuation of India’s longstanding policy of supporting the oppressed Palestinians.

The forum also recalls the historic Indian support for the Palestinian cause and calls upon imams and khateebs to educate the public about the plight of the Palestinians in their Friday sermons, organizing prayers and Qunoot-e-Nazila for their relief and justice.
