Wings India 2024 to kick start in Hyderabad tomorrow
The four-day Wings India 2024, Asia's largest event on Civil Aviation (Commercial, General and Business Aviation) will kick off at Begumpet Airport here on Thursday.
Hyderabad: The four-day Wings India 2024, Asia’s largest event on Civil Aviation (Commercial, General and Business Aviation) will kick off at Begumpet Airport here on Thursday.
The theme for the show will be ‘Advanced Air Mobility’.
Union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia will formally inaugurate the event being, organised by Airports Authority of India in collaboration with the Ministry and FICCI, in the presence of Minister of state for Civil Aviation Gen V K Singh, Telangana Minister for Roads and Buildings Komatireddy Venkat Reddy and Ministry of Civil Aviation Secretary Vumlunmang Vualnam.
Besides Air India’s first Airbus A350, US aerospace giant Boeing’s new widebody 777-9 jet has touched down in India for the first time at Begumpet Airport and will be on static display for Wings India visitors from January 18 to 19.
Around 25 aircrafts to be displayed at the air show.
In pursuance of Prime Minister’s vision to fulfil the common man’s aspirations of flying and the grand success of the previous edition, Ministry of Civil Aviation (MoCA), Airport Authority of India (AAI) and Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) are organizing the next edition of ‘Wings India 2024’, a flagship event on Civil Aviation sector in this part of the world.
The four-day show, supposed to be the biggest civil aviation show in Asia, will be showcasing an array of new-generation aircraft displays, allied aviation services, auxiliary unit industries, and advancements in the tourism sector.
The Global Ministerial Conference and Global CEO’s Forum are key highlights during Wings India 2024 besides fostering discussions on the industry’s future.
B2B/B2G Meetings provide networking opportunities, enhancing collaboration within the aviation community will also be held.
About 1500 delegates from 106 countries, about 5,000 business representatives and over one lakh visitors are expected to take part in the event.
About 500 Business to Business meetings are also scheduled to be held during the event.
With a focus on the fast-growing aviation market, the Indian government is actively involved, emphasizing the creation of aviation capacity.
Wings India 2024 serves as a platform for industry leaders, policymakers, and stakeholders to exchange ideas, forge partnerships, and showcase advancements in aviation technology.
