Pratiksha Kunwar, a 22-year-old student hailing from Narayanguda, Hyderabad, tragically lost her life in a car accident in Cheney, Kansas, USA. Reports of this incident arrived late. She was a passenger in a car operated by a fellow 22-year-old, as stated by the Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office.
Amjedullah Khan, leader of Majlis Bachao Tehreek, has shared details of the accident and appealed to the Indian embassy for assistance in repatriating Pratiksha’s remains to Hyderabad. Mr. Khan urged @IndianEmbassyUS and @cgihou to connect with the family members to facilitate the transportation of her mortal remains.
Pratiksha was pursuing her Masters in Business Analysis at Wichita State University in Wichita, Kansas. The tragic accident occurred on October 15 while she was traveling with her sister Priya and a young man named Varun, who was driving.
