Con woman Shilpa Chowdary sent to police custody

Hyderabad: Con woman Shilpa Chowdhary who had been arrested by city police for cheating several people, was sent on two days of police custody by a court.

However the court granted conditional bail to her husband Srinivas Prasad after the conclusion of the bail arguments.

Shilpa was facing allegations of cheating several people by taking ₹7 crore from them on the promise of giving high rate of interests.

It is learnt that the younger sister of actor Mahesh Babu has also lodged a complaint against Shilpa.
