Actor Mahi Gill joins BJP
Both joined the saffron party in the presence of Union Minister Gajendra Shekhawat, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar and the party general secretary Dushyant Gautam.
Chandigarh: Actor Mahi Gill on Monday joined the BJP ahead of the Punjab assembly polls scheduled to be held on February 20. Besides, Punjabi actor Hobby Dhaliwal also joined the BJP.
Both joined the saffron party in the presence of Union Minister Gajendra Shekhawat, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar and the party general secretary Dushyant Gautam.
Mahi Gill is best known for starring in ‘Dev D’ which was released in 2009.
The Punjab Assembly Election 2022 will be held in a single phase on February 20 for 117 constituencies. The counting of votes will take place on March 10.
