Hyderabad: The Telangana SC Study Circle has recorded a major achievement with 30 candidates successfully clearing the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Civil Services and Indian Forest Service (IFoS) Preliminary Examinations. Announcing the results, Telangana Minister for Scheduled Castes Development, Tribal Welfare, Welfare of Persons with Disabilities, Senior Citizens and Transgender Empowerment, Sri Adluri Lakshman Kumar, said the success reflects the vision of Chief Minister Sri A. Revanth Reddy and the State Government’s commitment to social justice, equal opportunity, quality education, and empowerment of marginalised communities.

30 Telangana SC Study Circle Candidates Clear UPSC and IFoS Preliminary Examinations
According to Minister Adluri Lakshman Kumar, among the results declared by the UPSC on 15 June 2026, a total of 30 candidates from the Telangana SC Study Circle qualified in the preliminary examinations.
The successful candidates include:
- 26 candidates who qualified in the Civil Services Preliminary Examination-2026
- 4 candidates who qualified in the Indian Forest Service (IFoS) Preliminary Examination
The Minister described the achievement as evidence of the State Government’s sustained efforts to create opportunities for youth from marginalised communities and enable them to enter India’s premier civil services.
Telangana SC Study Circle Candidates Secure UPSC 2025 Final Ranks
The Minister also highlighted the performance of Telangana SC Study Circle candidates in the final results of the UPSC Civil Services Examination-2025.
The candidates who secured distinguished ranks are:
- Mr A. Ashish – AIR 676
- Mr D. Praveen Kumar – AIR 793
According to the Minister, both candidates were selected in the final list and are likely to be allotted to the Indian Police Service (IPS).
Telangana Candidates Shine in Indian Forest Service Examination
The Minister said Telangana candidates also performed well in the Indian Forest Service Examination.
The successful candidates are:
- Mr D. Shashank – All India Rank 78
- Mr G. Srikanth – All India Rank 115
He said their achievement has brought laurels to Telangana and serves as an inspiration to aspirants from disadvantaged backgrounds.
