BJP Backs Electoral Roll Revision: Kishan Reddy Says SIR Is Essential to Remove Duplicate and Fake Voters

In a statement, Kishan Reddy said the revision process is being conducted in phases across the country and has proceeded smoothly, including in BJP-ruled states. He urged political parties not to politicize the exercise and described the SIR as a necessary reform to update electoral rolls. The electoral roll revision process is currently ongoing.

The Union Minister reiterated that the BJP would extend complete support to the SIR process.

• BJP party workers

to actively participate in ensuring that duplicate, fake and illegal voter entries are removed from electoral rolls.
