Telangana CM A. Revanth Reddy inaugurated HDFC Bank CSR projects, flagged off two ambulances, virtually launched an MRI scanner in Bhupalpally, and urged the bank to increase loans for Self-Help Groups.
Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Monday inaugurated several development initiatives taken up by HDFC Bank under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme. At a function held at MCR HRD Institute, the Chief Minister flagged off two ambulances provided by HDFC Bank and virtually inaugurated an MRI scanner installed at the Government Hospital in Bhupalpally. He also urged the bank to extend more loans to Self-Help Groups (SHGs), stating that loan repayments by women’s groups are being made regularly.

Revanth Reddy Launches HDFC Bank CSR Development Projects
The inauguration ceremony was held at the MCR HRD Institute in Hyderabad.
During the programme, Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy flagged off two ambulances provided by HDFC Bank under its CSR initiative.
He also virtually inaugurated an MRI scanner installed at the Government Hospital in Bhupalpally, marking another healthcare initiative supported through the bank’s CSR funds.
CM Urges HDFC Bank to Increase Loans for Self-Help Groups
Addressing representatives of HDFC Bank, the Chief Minister said that loan repayments from Self-Help Groups are being made properly.
He requested the bank to sanction more loans to women’s Self-Help Groups, highlighting their good repayment record.
Telangana Setting Up Logistics Parks, Warehouses and Rice Mills with SHGs
The Chief Minister said the Telangana government is establishing:
- Logistics Parks
- Warehouses
- Rice Mills
with the participation of Self-Help Groups (SHGs).
He appealed to the bank to provide large-scale financial assistance to support these initiatives.
