Another horrific accident on Outer Ring Road, two people killed

According to police, the victims, identified as Ramulu (60) and Rashid (40), were residents of Medak district and were transporting goats in a goods vehicle. After stopping their vehicle on the roadside to rest for the night, the two men reportedly lay down near the vehicle to sleep.

Hyderabad: Two men lost their lives in a tragic road accident on Hyderabad‘s Outer Ring Road (ORR) within the limits of the Keesara Police Station during the early hours of the day.

According to police, the victims, identified as Ramulu (60) and Rashid (40), were residents of Medak district and were transporting goats in a goods vehicle. After stopping their vehicle on the roadside to rest for the night, the two men reportedly lay down near the vehicle to sleep.

During this time, an unidentified vehicle allegedly rammed into the parked vehicle from behind and subsequently ran over the two men who were resting by the roadside.

Both Ramulu and Rashid sustained severe injuries in the impact and died on the spot.

Police reached the scene soon after receiving information about the accident and shifted the bodies for post-mortem examination. A case has been registered, and efforts are underway to identify and trace the vehicle involved in the hit-and-run incident.

An investigation into the accident is currently in progress.
