The development has drawn criticism from the opposition, which has questioned why an agreement involving Israeli investments in Telangana was signed specifically with a company linked to the Chief Minister’s family.
According to the allegations, Revanth Reddy met Israeli representatives during his visit to Davos, while Konda Reddy also reportedly held a separate meeting with the Israeli delegation. Subsequently, an agreement was signed between the Israeli defence company and Tesseract.
Opposition leaders have alleged that while Israel is looking at bringing investments into Telangana, the agreement being signed with a company linked to the Chief Minister’s brother raises questions about transparency and possible conflict of interest.
The controversy has also revived allegations surrounding land allotted to Tesseract by the Telangana government. Opposition leaders claim that the company was allotted land reportedly valued at around ₹135 crore for approximately ₹7 crore under the Congress government.

The issue has previously triggered a political dispute, with IT and Industries Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu holding a press conference to reject allegations of a connection between Tesseract and Konda Reddy and to explain the government’s position on the company.
Opposition leaders have now cited the latest agreement with the Israeli defence firm as fresh evidence of what they describe as a connection between the government and Konda Reddy’s company.
The allegations have intensified the political debate over government dealings with private companies and the transparency of investment agreements involving firms linked to political leaders’ family members.
The Telangana government and the concerned companies are yet to issue a detailed response to the latest allegations.
