Hit-and-Run Case: Art Director Anand Sai’s Son Sandeep Arrested
A hit-and-run incident on the ORR Rotary–Khajaguda main road in Rayadurgam has resulted in the death of a man and left a student seriously injured.
Hyderabad: A hit-and-run incident on the ORR Rotary–Khajaguda main road in Rayadurgam has resulted in the death of a man and left a student seriously injured.
According to preliminary information, a man identified as Nandulal was initially struck by an Innova car on the busy road. While Nandulal was being taken to a hospital for treatment, another accident occurred.
A speeding Mahindra car allegedly collided with the vehicle transporting Nandulal. The impact resulted in Nandulal’s death, while a student identified as Jaid Sha Kadri sustained severe injuries.
The Mahindra car reportedly fled the scene immediately after the accident without stopping to assist the victims.
Rayadurgam police examined CCTV footage from the area and traced the vehicle involved in the accident. Police subsequently arrested Sandeep, son of prominent art director Anand Sai, and seized the Mahindra car.
Further investigation is underway to establish the circumstances leading to the accidents and determine the sequence of events. Police are also examining the CCTV footage and other evidence as part of the investigation.
