As part of their protest, the farmers reportedly locked the gates of a Primary Agricultural Cooperative Society (PAUCS) godown, expressing strong opposition to the government’s new method of urea distribution.
The protesting farmers demanded that urea be supplied through the previous distribution system, under which farmers could obtain the fertiliser in their respective villages without having to depend on the new app-based process.

The farmers alleged that the Urea App system was creating difficulties in obtaining fertiliser and demanded that the authorities immediately withdraw it and ensure smooth availability of urea during the ongoing agricultural season.
The protestors also staged a roadside sit-in, raising slogans against the government’s approach to urea distribution. They urged officials to address their concerns and restore the old system without delay.
The farmers warned that they would intensify their agitation if their demands were not addressed promptly.
