AIMIM Unveils Candidates Names for Telangana Assembly Elections
The President of AIMIM also stated that Syed Ahmed Pasha Qadri and Mumtaz Ahmed Khan will not be participating in the upcoming elections but will remain affiliated with the AIMIM.
Hyderabad: Asaduddin Owaisi, the President of the All India Majlis-e-Ittehad-ul-Muslimeen (AIMIM) and Member of Parliament from Hyderabad, has officially announced the names of his party’s candidates for the upcoming Telangana Assembly elections.
Asaduddin Owaisi has revealed the list of AIMIM candidates for the Telangana Assembly elections. He declared that AIMIM will be contesting in nine constituencies. This time, in addition to the existing seven constituencies, AIMIM will also field candidates from Jubilee Hills and Rajendranagar.
The President of AIMIM also stated that Syed Ahmed Pasha Qadri and Mumtaz Ahmed Khan will not be participating in the upcoming elections but will remain affiliated with the AIMIM.
Furthermore, the AIMIM President mentioned that after the formation of Telangana state, AIMIM contested in 35 seats and secured victories in 7 of them. Similarly, in 2018, the party contested in 8 seats and achieved success in 7 of them.
This time, the AIMIM President has announced the names of his party’s candidates for six out of the nine Assembly seats.
The AIMIM candidates for the following constituencies include:
Akbaruddin Owaisi from Chandrayangutta
Ahmed bin Abdullah Balala from Malakpet
Jafar Hussain Meraj from Yakutpura
Majid Hussain Meraj, former Mayor of Hyderabad, from Nampally
Mir Zulfiqar Ali from Charminar
Kausar Mohiuddin from Karwan
The AIMIM is yet to announce its candidates for Bahadurpura, Jubilee Hills, and Rajendranagar constituencies.
