All schools across Telangana reopened
Minister for Education, Sabita Indra Reddy visited the Government Girls high School at Mahabubia in Hyderabad and greeted students as they returned to the schools.
Hyderabad: All the schools both government and private in the state have commenced functioning as they re-opened for the academic year 2022-23 after the summer vacation today.
It is reported that as students returned to the schools, the campuses wore a festive look.

The State government has introduced the English medium of instruction for the Classes I to VIII in all government and local body schools from this year.
Accordingly, the government teachers were trained in collaboration with Azim Premji University. This apart, the government is providing textbooks in both English and Telugu from this academic year.
Shopping for school uniforms and books for children gained momentum in markets, as compared to the hasty activity during the last two years due to Covid-19 pandemic. Parents along with their children were busy shopping for school uniforms, books and stationery items for the new academic year.
Several shops of school uniforms, school shoes and books were seen jam packed by parents.
