Congress ‘Aazadi Gaurav Yatra’ concludes

New Delhi: The ‘Aazadi Gaurav Yatra’ of the Congress which began from Gujarat’s Sabarmati Ashram on April 6, concluded at Rajghat here on Wednesday.

The ‘Azadi Ka Gaurav Yatra’ was organised by the grand old party to mark the 75th anniversary of India’s independence.
The Yatra showcased the struggles and sacrifices of the Congress workers and leaders in the freedom struggle, and in the rebuilding of the country. On March 29, it had arrived in the national capital after it travelled through Rajasthan and Haryana.
Speak on the occasion, Delhi Congress president Anil Kumar Choudhary said at the present situation prevailing in the country there is a need to unite the people and ‘Azadi Gaurav Yatra’ was organised in this direction.
