DCP Secunderabad Warns of Legal Action for Failure to Report Foreign Nationals Under Immigration and Foreigners Act, 2025

DCP Secunderabad has warned house owners, hotels, hospitals and educational institutions to report foreign nationals through Form-11 and Form-111(C) under the Immigration and Foreigners Act, 2025.

The Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), Secunderabad Zone, has warned that strict action will be taken against individuals and institutions that fail to submit mandatory details of foreign nationals as required under the Immigration and Foreigners Act, 2025. The advisory applies to house owners, hotels, lodges, guest houses, hospitals, educational institutions, and other accommodation providers hosting foreign nationals.

The DCP urged all stakeholders to submit information through the designated online portals and comply with the prescribed regulations.

Educational Institutions Must Submit Foreign Student Details

According to the DCP, institutions providing accommodation to foreign nationals, including students, must accurately furnish information through:

  • Form-11
  • Form-111(C)

Educational institutions have specifically been directed to provide complete details of:

  • Foreign students
  • Individuals holding foreign passports
  • Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) card holders
  • Nepali nationals

The police stressed that all required information must be submitted accurately through the prescribed forms.

FRRO Portal Mandatory for Accommodation Providers

The DCP stated that accommodation providers hosting foreign nationals or Nepali citizens must immediately register their details through Form-111(C) on the Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO) portal.

Authorities have also instructed accommodation providers to preserve the submitted records for at least one additional year.

Action Under Section 23 of the Foreigners Act

Police warned that failure to submit the mandatory forms will attract legal action under Section 23 of the Foreigners Act.

The DCP further stated that strict legal action will also be initiated against any individual or institution found:

  • Providing false information
  • Concealing details of foreign nationals
  • Violating reporting requirements

Officials emphasized that compliance with the regulations is mandatory.

Stakeholders Asked to Use FRRO Online Portal

The police advised all concerned stakeholders to use the FRRO online portal for timely compliance with the reporting requirements.

Authorities reiterated that adherence to the Immigration and Foreigners Act, 2025, is necessary to maintain accurate records of foreign nationals staying within the jurisdiction.
