Hajj 2022; Online Application Submission Begins in Telangana

Hyderabad: Mr. B. Shafiullah (IFS) Executive Officer, Telangana State Hajj Committee said in a press statement that the process of submitting online applications for Hajj 2022 has started from November 1, 2021. The last date for submission of online applications is 31st January 2022.
He said that pilgrims can submit applications from HCoI’s app from their mobile phones. Details can be obtained from the Hajj Committee of India’s website http://www.hajcommittee.gov.in. Hajj pilgrims can pay Rs. 300/- with their debit card for registration fee.
While giving details Mr. B Shafiullah (IFS) Executive Officer Telangana State Hajj Committee said that such pilgrims whose passport validity is atleast 31st December 2022 will be eligible to submit the same applications. Pilgrims’ passports must be machine-readable.
He added that the duration of Hajj will be 36 to 42 days. All pilgrims should approach Telangana State Hajj Committee office only after submitting their applications online. Mr. B. Shafiullah said that it is necessary for Hajj pilgrims that their age should not be more than 65 years.
The selected pilgrims will have to pay the first installment of Rs. 81,000/- as an advance till March 31, 2022. He further said that ten embarkation points have been set up for the departure of pilgrims. Further details can be obtained from the website www.hajcommittee.gov.in.
