Hyderabad: With the formation of a low pressure in the Bay of Bengal, heavy to very heavy rain is expected in the districts of Siddipet, Yadadri, Bhongir, Medchal, Malkajgiri, Waqarabad, Sangareddy, Medak and Kamareddy in Telangana during the next 24 hours.
There is a high chance of heavy rain in the districts of Mancherial, Nizamabad, Jagtial, Sircilla, Karimnagar, Peddapalli, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulug, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Mehboobabad, Warangal, Hanamkonda, Jangaon, Rangareddy and some places of Hyderabad.
Meanwhile, there is a possibility of light to heavy rain or thundershowers in all the districts of Telangana state today.
This was stated in the bulletin issued by the Meteorological Department on Friday. During the last 24 hours, heavy rain occurred at few places of Sangareddy, Kamareddy, Sircilla and some places of Waqarabad. Southwest Monsoon ‘remains active in Telangana’, the bulletin stated.
