Hyderabad: 14-month-old baby tests positive for COVID-19
Corona pandemic is on the rise once again. A 14-month-old infant boy tested positive for Covid-19 at the government Nilofer hospital here on Thursday.
Hyderabad: Corona pandemic is on the rise once again. A 14-month-old infant boy tested positive for Covid-19 at the government Nilofer hospital here on Thursday.
Hospital superintendent Usha Rani said the boy’s condition was stable.
The child was admitted to the hospital on December 18 with pneumonia and showed symptoms such as cough, cold and difficulty in breathing, she said.
Corona tests are being done for all pneumonia cases and the boy was also tested positive for covid-19, she added.
The samples were sent for testing on Wednesday and it was tested positive on Thursday. However, the boy’s parents did not have any symptoms of corona virus.
