Hyderabad: Massive fire breaks out at car dealing showroom; around 50 cars gutted

Residents of LB Nagar in Hyderabad experienced panic as a significant fire broke out in a second-hand car dealing shop on Tuesday night. According to a report around 50 cars were damaged in the incident, but fortunately, no injuries or fatalities have been reported thus far.

According to LB Nagar DCP Sai Sree, the fire occurred at a second-hand car showroom within the jurisdiction of LB Nagar Police Station. The fire was noticed by people after the staff had already left for the day. Upon receiving the information, the fire officials were immediately alerted.

With the assistance of the fire department, the fire was successfully extinguished. Fire engines from LB Nagar, Hayathnagar, Balkampet, Malakpet, and Gawliguda were dispatched to the location. 

As a precautionary measure, nearby houses were evacuated, and steps were taken to prevent the fire from spreading to the furniture shop adjacent to the showroom. Thankfully, no casualties were reported. The cause of the fire is currently unknown, and further investigation is underway, as stated by DCP Sai Sree.
