Hyderabad Streets Blanketed in Chemical Foam After Heavy Rains

In the aftermath of the downpour that drenched the city a day earlier, substantial chemical foam gathered on the streets of Shirdi Nagar and Dharani Nagar in Kukatpally on Wednesday.

This foam accumulation was a direct result of the intense rainfall experienced on Tuesday. According to local residents, the mixture of sewage from nearby colonies and chemical waste discharged by the neighboring industries catalyzed the formation of this unusual foam through a reaction with the rainwater.

The foam, borne from the heavy rains, brought considerable inconvenience to the local populace. As reported by locals, authorities from the local body visited and inspected the affected areas yesterday evening.
