Heavy to very heavy rainfall is expected in several northern districts on July 4 and 5, accompanied by thunderstorms and gusty winds of 40–50 kmph. Authorities have advised residents to remain cautious and follow safety precautions.

Heavy Rain Likely in North Telangana on July 4 and 5
According to the IMD, the following districts are likely to receive heavy to very heavy rainfall on July 4 and July 5:
- Adilabad
- Komaram Bheem Asifabad
- Mancherial
- Nizamabad
- Peddapalli
The weather department has also forecast thunderstorms accompanied by gusty winds of 40–50 kmph in these districts.
IMD Advises Residents to Take Precautions
Authorities have urged people to remain alert during adverse weather conditions.
Residents have been advised to:
- Avoid taking shelter under trees during thunderstorms.
- Stay away from electric poles and hoardings.
- Move to safer locations whenever necessary.
Rainfall to Continue Till July 10
The IMD said light to moderate rainfall is expected across parts of Telangana between July 6 and July 10.
The forecast indicates that monsoon activity will continue across the state during this period.

Officials noted that Telangana recorded about 20% below-normal rainfall during June, despite the recent improvement in monsoon activity.
