Hyderabad: Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao has announced the upcoming distribution of nearly 100,000 double bedroom houses within the Greater Hyderabad limits.
These housing units, designed for impoverished families, have been completed and will be distributed starting August 15, coinciding with Independence Day.
The government’s goal is to offer improved living conditions compared to the previously distributed single-room units, which were deemed too cramped for families.
Additionally, the government has introduced the ‘Gruhalakshmi’ program, offering financial aid of ₹3 lakh at three stages to families who own plots and wish to construct homes.
