MCC Restricted to Huzurabad Constituency; Nearby Villages become Safe Haven to Operate
As the Huzurabad constituency is spread across Karimnagar and Hanamkonda districts, the leaders have started electioneering from bordering villages where there was no implementation of poll code.
Hyderabad: In view of the Election Commission restricting the model code of conduct to Huzurabad constituency alone, surrounding villages and areas have become safe haven for the leaders to operate, particularly the ruling TRS which wants to retain Huzurabad Constituency at any cost.
Since BJP candidate Etala Rajender resigned as MLA, Huzurabad has become a beehive of political activity with many leaders descending on the constituency campaigning for the by poll.
However, it became inconvenient for them to organize meetings when the code came into effect in addition to the strict implementation of Covid-19 protocol.
As the Huzurabad constituency is spread across Karimnagar and Hanamkonda districts, the leaders, especially of the ruling TRS party, have started to maneuver their electioneering from bordering villages where there was no implementation of poll code.
Trs Plans to Organise Huge Public Meeting of Kcr at Penchikalpet
Penchikalpet, 5 kilometers from Huzurabad abutting National Highway-563, is one such village within the vicinity from the Huzurabad constituency. TRS leaders had already started to draw plans utilizing the proximity of the village to Huzurabad.
In fact, the TRS leadership has planned to organize a huge public meeting of K. Chandrasekhar Rao at Penchikalpet by mobilizing crowds, by doing so, the party could avoid the glare of the Election Commission officials. Apart from this, the neighboring villages play a key role in the poll management.
It may be mentioned here that MLAs of neighboring constituencies such as Husnabad and Parkal were already actively campaigning in the Huzurabad segment. With the election seeking to reach peaks after the Dasara festival, the politicians irrespective of parties were certain to make use of bordering villages where there was no implementation of model code of conduct to their advantage.
