Medical Student Critically Injured After Allegedly Being Run Over by Car in Rajamahendravaram; Two Youths Arrested

Rajamahendravaram: A 28-year-old medical student was critically injured after she was allegedly run over by a car driven by two intoxicated youths following a parking dispute in Rajamahendravaram, police said.
The victim, identified as Priyanka, is a student of GSL Medical College. The incident occurred on August 3 near Prasadithya Mall on AV Apparao Road, where she had gone to watch a movie.

As Priyanka was riding away on her scooter, the two youths allegedly drove at high speed and rammed her vehicle from behind. The impact threw her onto the road, and the car is said to have passed over her body from head to toe.
Local residents immediately rushed the severely injured woman to a nearby hospital. She was later shifted to a hospital in Hyderabad for advanced treatment.
Doctors treating Priyanka have reportedly confirmed brain death, and her condition remains extremely critical.

The Prakash Nagar Police have taken both accused into custody. Preliminary investigation indicates that they were allegedly under the influence of alcohol at the time of the incident.
