Congress MLC takes bus, BRS MLA comes in auto to assembly!

While the State assembly Budget session was going on Thursday, Congress MLC Balmuri Venkat reached the legislature by a TSRTC bus and an MLA of the BRS party Padi Koushik Reddy came to the House by an autorickshaw.

The Congress MLC Balmuri Venkat travelled in an RTC bus from Nampally to the legislative assembly and interacted with the women passengers in bus and elicited their opinions about their experience in the free bus services launched by the Congress government.        

Similarly, BRS party MLA Padi Koushik Reddy hired an autorickshaw and interacted with auto drivers and asked about their problems after the State government launched free bus service to the women.

He said the auto drivers narrated their tales of woe after introduction of free bus rides to women. Koushik Reddy said he preferred to come to the assembly by travelling in an autorickshaw in protest against the Congress government’s free bus travel to women scheme, which hit the livelihood of three-wheeler drivers.
