The Regional Police Officer (RPO) of Multan, Suhail, confirmed that Aasim Jameel, the son of Maulana Tariq Jameel, was shot in the chest. It has been reported that the police have arrived at the scene and further details are being investigated.
Initial information suggests that Aasim Jameel was shot by an unknown assailant, while some reports indicate that it may have been a case of self-inflicted injury. The exact cause of his death will be determined by the police after further investigation.
