Telangana News | CM Revanth’s Pledge to Forego ‘Zero Traffic Protocol’ Remains Unfulfilled

Despite Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy's decision to relinquish the ‘zero traffic protocol’ privilege, it appears to be more of a formality, as traffic restrictions continue to be enforced for his convoy, even on the Outer Ring Road (ORR).

Hyderabad: Despite Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy’s decision to relinquish the ‘zero traffic protocol’ privilege, it appears to be more of a formality, as traffic restrictions continue to be enforced for his convoy, even on the Outer Ring Road (ORR).

After assuming office last December, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy had directed officials not to halt traffic for his convoy’s passage.

However, a recent video circulating on social media shows vehicles lined up in long queues on the ORR, waiting for over an hour as the CM’s convoy passes.

The video quickly went viral, sparking public outrage and leading many to question the authorities’ decision to enforce traffic stops for the Chief Minister.

Though the exact timing of the video remains unclear, it has nevertheless stirred criticism. The video was initially shared on X by @PropHyderabad but was later removed by the account on Wednesday evening.
