Hyderabad: A tragic incident was reported within the limits of the LB Nagar Police Station, where a 34-year-old woman allegedly drowned her nine-month-old infant in Guda Lake at Bairamalguda.
The deceased infant has been identified as Lokasani Anuradha, while the accused has been identified as Lokasani Rajeshwari (34), a resident of Injapur.
According to preliminary information, Rajeshwari allegedly took the infant to the lake and drowned the child. She was reportedly in an inebriated state at the time of the incident.

Following the incident, the infant’s body was recovered and shifted to Osmania General Hospital for a postmortem examination.
