TSPSC Group-1 Exam to be conducted soon

Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has informed that the Group-1 exam will be conducted in Telangana soon and jobs will be filled in a transparent manner through the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) on the lines of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).

Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has informed that the Group-1 exam will be conducted in Telangana soon and jobs will be filled in a transparent manner through the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) on the lines of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).

Addressing the programme after handing over the appointment orders to the selected teachers in the Gurukulams at the LB Stadium here on Thursday, the Chief Minister alleged that the previous BRS government had completely neglected the job recruitment process and ignored the plight of unemployed youth.

“After the BRS lost power in Telangana, the youth have started getting jobs. As we have promised to 30 lakh unemployed youth, the Congress government has taken up the recruitment process. Within 70 days of the Congress government came to power, we have taken up the recruitment of 25,000 jobs,” he disclosed.

The Chief Minister said the previous government had closed the schools with a conspiracy to deprive the poor of education and said that a total of 6,450 single teacher schools were closed in tandas and remote villages during the BRS regime.

He assured that the State government will soon take up teacher recruitment through “Mega DSC” and provide education facilities at the doorsteps of all the poor.

“All the Gurukula schools will be brought under one umbrella. All kinds of gurukula schools will be set up in one campus in a sprawling 20 acres of land. The State government will take up this as a pilot project in Kodangal and implement the same model in all Assembly constituencies. The officials are instructed to identify suitable places to establish the Gurukulams in all constituencies,” Revanth Reddy said.

“BRS MLA Harish Rao has asked me to resign from the CM post. Harish looks like another Aurangzeb who has a history of assaulting his own people. What did Harish Rao do after being a minister for ten years? The BRS leaders ran away from attending the Assembly to discuss the Medigadda issue. KCR should be aware that he has betrayed the people,” he criticised. (NSS)
