Gaddam Vivek Venkata Swamy announced that the Telangana government will roll out new pensions from June 2. The Labour, Employment and Mines Minister made the announcement during his visit to Miryalaguda in Telangana, where he also participated in the funeral of senior Congress leader Kodi Rekka Shouri. The Minister said the government is committed to transparent paddy procurement, timely delivery of Indiramma houses and improving worker safety in industries.

New Pension Scheme to Begin From June 2
Speaking during his visit to Miryalaguda on May 17, Minister Gaddam Vivek Venkata Swamy said the Telangana government plans to launch new pensions starting from June 2.
The Minister stated that the government is working towards supporting poor and underprivileged families through welfare initiatives.
Minister Criticises Previous BRS Government
During his remarks, Vivek Venkata Swamy alleged that no pensions were distributed during the ten years of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) administration.
He said the present government is focused on transparent governance and welfare delivery.
Transparent Paddy Procurement and Indiramma Houses
The Minister said the Telangana government is maintaining transparency in paddy grain procurement.
He also stated that the government is committed to ensuring timely delivery of:
- Indiramma houses
- Welfare benefits for underprivileged people
Advanced Technology Centers Planned in Miryalaguda and Nakirekal
Vivek Venkata Swamy announced that Advanced Technology Centers will be established in:
- Miryalaguda
- Nakirekal
He said construction work on these projects will begin soon.
New Safety Protocols for Pharmaceutical Industry
The Minister said factories are being regularly monitored to ensure worker safety.
According to him, the government will introduce new protocols to prevent accidents in the pharmaceutical industry.
