Telangana DSP Booked in Disproportionate Assets Case; ACB Raids Uncover Villa, 50+ Acres of Land, Luxury Flats, Gold and Cash

Hyderabad: The Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has registered a disproportionate assets (DA) case against Sankireddy Bheem Reddy, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), Police Computer Services (PCS), Hyderabad, after searches at 16 locations allegedly uncovered a villa, luxury apartments, commercial properties, more than 50 acres of land, cash, gold, bank deposits and investments far beyond his known sources of income. The investigation is continuing.

Telangana ACB Registers DA Case Against DSP Sankireddy Bheem Reddy
The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) booked Sankireddy Bheem Reddy, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), Police Computer Services (PCS), Hyderabad, under Sections 13(1)(b) and 13(2) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988, as amended in 2018.
According to the ACB, the officer allegedly acquired assets disproportionate to his known sources of income by indulging in corrupt practices and dubious means during his service.
The ACB conducted searches at the officer’s residence and 15 other premises linked to his relatives, friends, alleged benamidars and associates, taking the total number of search locations to 16.
Villa, Luxury Flats and Commercial Properties Identified
During the searches, the ACB traced several immovable properties allegedly linked to the officer, including:
- A villa at Vessella Meadows, Ibrahimbagh.
- A G+2 house with a penthouse in Telecom Nagar.
- Another flat in Telecom Nagar.
- A flat at Kranti Ceon Apartments, Gachibowli.
- Two flats in Tellapur.
- A share in a G+5 commercial complex on Lancohills Road, Manikonda.
- A 3,000 sq ft commercial space near Manikonda Marrichettu Junction.
- Open plots in Nagole, Patancheru, Pragathi Resorts, and Mominpet.
More Than 50 Acres of Land Across Telangana and Karnataka
The ACB also found documents relating to agricultural land, including:
- 3.5 acres at Zaheerabad, Sangareddy district.
- 6 acres in Karnataka.
- 38 acres in Karnataka.
- 1 acre at Devanahalli, near Bengaluru.
- 2 acres at Mominpet, Vikarabad district.
- 4.20 acres at Muchintala village, CC Kunta.
Investigators also identified an investment of ₹75 lakh in M/s Sri Raghavendra Rock Sand Minerals.
Cash, Gold, Silver and Bank Deposits Recovered
During the raids, ACB officials recovered:
- ₹3.6 lakh in cash from the officer’s residence.
- ₹40 lakh in cash from the house of an alleged benamidar.
- Gold ornaments weighing about 2 kilograms.
- Silver articles weighing about 20 kilograms.
- Bank balances of approximately ₹19.91 lakh.
Foreign Liquor Bottles Found
The ACB also found 23 foreign liquor bottles at the officer’s residence.
The matter has been referred to the Excise Department for further action.
Investigation Continues
According to the ACB, the market value of the immovable properties may be many times higher than their registered value.
Officials said verification of additional assets is currently underway and that the investigation is continuing.
