The inspection was carried out under the supervision of:
- Shri Rahul Hegde, IPS, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic-I), Hyderabad City and DCP Traffic, Charminar Zone
- Shri Ramdas Tejavath, Additional DCP Traffic
- Shri Chandrakumar, ACP, Charminar Division
- Shri Mohammad Asif, Inspector, Traffic Police Station Santoshnagar
- Shri Shravan Kumar, GHMC Deputy Executive Engineer
The inspection was also attended by Assistant Engineers (AEs) and Deputy Engineers (DEs) of the GHMC Projects Division.
Traffic Diversions and Safe U-Turns Reviewed
During the inspection, the officials reviewed the implementation of traffic diversion plans along the affected stretch between Chanchalguda Y-Junction and IS Sadan Junction.
They also examined:
- Provision of safe U-turns at required locations.
- Removal of unnecessary or hazardous U-turn points.
- Coordination between Hyderabad Traffic Police and GHMC works teams.
