Hyderabad Man Accused of Blackmailing Wife with Private Photos and Videos

Hyderabad: A 24-year-old teacher from Basavatharakam Nagar has approached the Filminagar police, alleging that her husband has been repeatedly harassing and blackmailing her using her private photographs and videos.
According to her complaint, the woman alleged that her husband has been threatening to upload her private photos and videos on social media platforms and make them go viral. She reportedly approached the police after the alleged threats and harassment continued.
The woman further alleged that her husband had misused her private photographs in 2022 and posted them on Facebook without her consent. She also claimed that he continued to harass her online by allegedly making obscene and inappropriate comments on her Instagram account.
The complainant told police that the repeated threats and online harassment had caused her considerable distress. She sought police intervention to prevent the alleged misuse and circulation of her private content on social media.
