According to the details available, the victim, identified as Rajesh, had taken a motorcycle from bike mechanic Mahesh for Rs. 25,000 for a test ride. During the test ride, Rajesh allegedly met with an accident and crashed into a police constable’s car.
Following the accident, Mahesh’s brother reportedly paid Rs. 5,000 towards the repair of the constable’s vehicle. With the total amount allegedly reaching Rs. 30,000, Mahesh and his associates reportedly accused Rajesh of avoiding payment.
On the 5th of this month, Mahesh and his friends allegedly caught Rajesh and tied him up. The accused reportedly assaulted him throughout the night. In a further act of brutality, they allegedly stripped the victim, tied locks around his hands and neck, and fastened him to a motorcycle before dragging him along the road.
