Hyderabad: The Government of Telangana, in association with Doxa Consulting Private Limited (DCPL) and MASK NextGen Inc., has launched the AI Readiness and Digital Safety Programme for 80,000 students of the Telangana Minorities Residential Educational Institutions Society (TMREIS). The programme will be rolled out across 205 residential schools from August 15, 2026, at zero cost to the government, with the initiative aimed at preparing minority students for an AI-driven future.

AI Readiness Programme to Begin on August 15
Announced in Hyderabad on July 10, 2026, the programme is described as a landmark initiative to democratize technology education and build Telangana’s future technology workforce.
The AI Readiness and Digital Safety Programme is a collaborative initiative of the Government of Telangana, Doxa Consulting Private Limited (DCPL), and MASK NextGen Inc., and will benefit 80,000 TMREIS students studying in 205 residential schools.
According to the press note, the programme will be offered at zero cost to the government through a strategic partnership model that reflects Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) commitment to societal advancement.
Programme Aligned With Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s Vision
The initiative is said to directly reflect the vision of Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy to provide quality education to every child from the school level and prepare students to become employable, responsible youth capable of leading Telangana as a major hub for AI and technology jobs.
The programme is also being driven by the efforts of Minorities Welfare Minister Mohammed Azharuddin, who is focused on creating equal opportunities for minority students to excel in high-growth sectors.

What the AI Readiness Programme Includes
The curriculum will be delivered through a gamified, self-paced learning platform developed by MASK NextGen.
It includes:
- 24 interactive modules
- Three key assessments
The programme is designed to:
- Build foundational AI knowledge and digital safety skills.
- Enhance English proficiency and leadership capabilities.
- Instill core values of gender respect, diversity, and inclusion.
